Kappal Refund Policy

At Kappal products (Kappal E-Commerce, Kappal Cloud) , operate on a prepaid resource-based billing model, meaning you are billed in advance for the upcoming billing cycle (quarterly or yearly). Since our infrastructure costs are incurred upfront, refunds are processed based on the following terms.

Billing Cycle & Payment Terms

  • Quarterly & Yearly Billing Only (No monthly plans).
  • Invoices are generated 3 days before the new billing cycle (e.g., for April's usage, billing is done on March 28th).
  • Payment must be completed before the new cycle begins (e.g., by March 31st for April's usage).
  • If payment is not received, services will be suspended until payment is made.

Refund Eligibility

A. Full Refund (If Cancelled Before New Billing Cycle Starts)

If you cancel before the new cycle begins (e.g., before April 1st for April's billing), you will receive a full refund for the upcoming cycle.

B. Prorated Refund (If Cancelled After Billing Cycle Starts)

If you cancel after the new cycle begins (e.g., on or after April 1st), refunds will be calculated as:

  • Used resources (compute, storage, bandwidth) will be deducted at standard rates.
  • The remaining unused balance will be refunded.

C. No Refund for Consumed Resources

  • Once resources are consumed (e.g., server uptime, bandwidth, storage), they are non-refundable.
  • Third-party costs (e.g., domain registrations, external APIs or Services) are non-refundable.

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Any used resources during the active billing cycle.
  • Fraudulent or excessive usage (e.g., sudden spike in resource consumption followed by a cancellation).
  • Discounts or promotional credits applied to the account.
  • Customizations, paid configurations or setup fees (if applicable).

How to Request a Refund

  1. Submit a request via support@kappal.in with:
    • Your account details.
    • Reason for cancellation & refund request.
  2. Our team will:
    • Verify usage and calculate refund (if applicable).
    • Process refund within 7-10 business days (to original payment method).

Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Chargebacks without prior communication will result in account suspension and possible legal recovery.
  • Always contact support first to resolve billing issues.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy with notice via email or dashboard alerts. Continued use of Kappal means acceptance of the latest terms.
