How we build

The stack, the process and the team you would actually work with.

Our stack

TypeScript, Next.js, React, Python, FastAPI and .NET Core on PostgreSQL, with pgvector and DuckDB for analytics. We pick boring, proven tools and keep them current.

How we ship

Small, shippable increments with tests and audit from day one. Test-driven development, code review on every change, and CI/CD pipelines for every project.

How we work

Infrastructure on GCP, Azure and DigitalOcean, managed with Docker and Kubernetes. Discovery, architecture, build, run and support, with SLAs that are written down.

Who you work with

A small team of engineers and delivery leads led by the founder and chief architect. No account managers in the middle. You talk to the people shipping the code.

The principles behind the work

This is the point of view we ship by. If these read like ideas you already hold, you will fit in here.

Integration over replacement

The systems that run a business took years to build. We connect to them through their native interfaces and make the whole stack work as one, instead of asking anyone to start over.

The model is not the system

AI is only as good as the deterministic harness around it. We build strict timeouts, retry budgets, circuit breakers and audit. The model suggests. The system decides.

Data sovereignty is a feature

Your data stays in your region, inside your VPC, under your control. Nothing trains on it. Nothing leaves the firewall. When we put that in writing, it is a contractual term.

Our design culture

We ship clean, or we don't ship at all. Want to know more about how we think about design at Kappal? Read our design manifesto.
